One of the most common misunderstandings of the loan process is that you need extremely high credit scores if you want to purchase a home. Although there are credit score requirements, most of the time borrower's are able to find themselves within the boundaries to qualify for one or more loan products.

Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA have specific requirements for minimum credit scores. These credit score requirements are in place to help lenders make decisions about a person’s history of paying off debts, and their likelihood to pay off their loan.

Here's more good news if you're worried about your credit scores still being a bit too low. It'll take time, diligence, and patience, but I'm willing to set a game plan with you to help those scores increase and get you in a better position to purchase a home.

If we can’t get your scores where they need to be, I have resources to help with credit repair. These companies can help you set goals to pay off debts and square away collections and other issues that can be hindering your credit score.

Credit plays a major role in getting a loan, and it's important to make sure that your credit is in a position to benefit you when it comes to purchasing a home. For more information, please contact me today. I'd love to look over your loan application, and help you find solutions to getting your credit where it needs to be to buy a new home.
